A program allowing local students to see the film “Selma” for free at the Grand Cinema in Tacoma has been extended until Feb. 12.
After more than 300 middle and high school students saw the movie, the run at the Grand, 606 S. Fawcett Ave., was extended a week.
To take advantage of the free ticket offer, students must show their student I.D. cards at the ticket booth. Seats are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Show times are available at GrandCinema.com or by calling 253-593-4474.
Several community groups are making the tickets available. Donations can be made at JewishVoiceForPeace.org/Tacoma. For more information, go to SelmaForTacomasYouth@gmail.com.
