A small plane crashed at a South Hill airport Saturday, but no one was injured.
A Beech 33 Bonanza wrecked just after taking off from Thun Field, Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Allen Kenitzer said. Only the pilot was on board, he said.
Central Pierce Fire & Rescue spokesman Ed Hrivnak said the pilot escaped injury and that no one on the ground was hurt either.
Kenitzer didn’t know the exact time the crash happened, but said it was sometime in the morning. Further details weren’t immediately available.
