Bonney Lake, Edgewood and Sumner were among 11 government agencies in Pierce County to receive Washington State Transportation Improvement Board grants for road and sidewalk improvements.
Smoke alarms helped a Bonney Lake family escape their home early this morning as flames quickly spread from the garage, according to East Pierce Fire & Rescue.
The high school marching band passed. Legions of teenage dancers kicked their heels to holiday tunes. A firetruck sounded its horn.
