Gig Harbor women retire after more than two decades of volunteering

After 22 years of volunteering, Patricia “Pat” Bujacich, 85, Patricia “Pat” Jerkovich, 85 and Bette Rusu, 91, have retired. They went every Monday for shifts helping to feed the homeless in Tacoma at the Hospitality Kitchen run by St. Leo’s Catholic Church and the Nativity House.

Incumbent Michael Perrow won re-election by 24 votes over Jeni Woock for City Council Position 6

Ken Malich, incumbent for City Council Position 5, was re-elected with 61.69 percent of votes against opponent Al Abbott, who had 37.82 percent

Rita Lovrovich, the incumbent for City Council Position 4, ran unopposed and won re-election with 97.98 percent of votes
