Pierce Transit and Sound Transit will provide special route services for the 2015 Washington State Fair in Puyallup in addition to regularly scheduled services.
A Fair Express bus provided by Pierce Transit will begin on the opening day of the Fair, Sept. 11, and continue through the closing day of the Fair, Sept. 27. The Fair Express will pick up guests at the Tacoma Mall, Lakewood Towne Center and South Hill Mall beginning daily at 9:15 a.m., with the last bus picking up passengers at 11:30 p.m. Parking will be free at these locations.
Pierce Transit local routes 4, 400, 402 and 425 will also serve the Washington State Fair.
The Sound Transit Sounder train will run a special train on Sept. 19 and 26 to the Fair. From the Puyallup station, a free Pierce Transit bus is available to take riders to the Fair’s Red Gate. Sounder schedules are available online at www.soundtransit.org/soundertothefair.

Sound Transit Express Bus route 578 runs daily between Seattle and Puyallup and provides another option for Fair transportation.
