Four people died early Saturday in a single-vehicle crash in Auburn.
Two others were seriously injured and transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
According to Auburn police, a vehicle traveling north in the 3700 block of Auburn Way South left the roadway and struck a power pole or tree.
Two women and two men were found dead at the scene, Auburn Police Cmdr. Steve Stocker said. The driver survived the crash, Stocker said.
In a press release, police said they believe alcohol and speed might have been involved.
Three of those who died were in their 20s while one of the men was in his 30s, according to police. The two taken to the hospital are in their 30s, police said.
Stocker also said a small dog apparently was in the vehicle. The dog was found alive at the scene but was examined and euthanized after being taken to a Sumner veterinary clinic.
Other details, including the identities of the victims, were not available.
