A rollover crash injured a woman riding in the vehicle Thursday in Lakewood.
The extent of her injuries wasn’t immediately available. Crews took the patient, a 49-year-old Tacoma woman, to Tacoma General Hospital.
The wreck happened about 12:30 a.m. when the 45-year-old Tacoma man driving exited from northbound Interstate 5 to eastbound state Route 512, hit the embankment, and rolled the vehicle onto its roof, according to the Washington State Patrol.
No other vehicles were involved.
Traffic to the ramp was blocked for more than two hours.
Speed caused the wreck and drugs or alcohol appeared to be involved, troopers said.
The crash is still being investigated.
