A man and a woman with gunshot wounds were found dead in a Tacoma home Thursday, police said.
Investigators had not determined how the pair, in their 50s or 60s, died, police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said.
She said officers were not searching for a shooter.
Crews responded to the home about 5:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of South 43rd Street, when a neighbor reported that a dog at the residence was unattended, and that mail had been stacking up at the home.
Information about when the pair died, and how or if they were related, was not immediately available. It was not clear if they were residents of the home.
Officials did not release their names Thursday.
