An Kent apartment complex burned Monday for the second time in less than two months.
Firefighters arrived after getting a call about 2:10 p.m. about smoke coming from the apartments in the 23800 block of 109th Avenue Southeast.
No one was hurt, and no one was home at the time, according to Kent Fire. Crews contained the fire to one apartment, though smoke and water damaged at least one other.
Investigators were working to determine the cause of the blaze.
A three-alarm fire Oct. 3 destroyed several apartments in another building at the complex, and two people were seriously injured when they jumped from the third floor, Kent Fire said.
