Detectives are trying to identify a man who robbed a South Hill pharmacy on Nov. 14.
The holdup happened about 7:30 p.m. at a Rite Aid 7 in the 12800 block of Meridian Avenue East.
Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers gave this account:
The robber went to the pharmacy counter and showed the clerk a note on a cellphone that demanded prescription pills. The robber lifted his shirt and showed a handgun in his waistband, then took the pills and fled.
He was described as in his 20s, 5 feet 10, 170 pounds, with dark hair.
The man was wearing sunglasses, a black and white fisherman-style hat, blue jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt.
