Lochburn Middle School in Lakewood went into lockdown Wednesday afternoon, because a parent made a threat to the school’s principal, police spokesman Chris Lawler said.
The man threatened the principal, and said Tuesday he would come back to the school 1 p.m. Wednesday, because he was apparently unhappy with his son being suspended or expelled, Lawler said.
He was trespassed from the building, and did not return Wednesday.
The school went into lockdown as a precaution about 1 p.m., Clover Park School District spokesman Gary Sabol said.
The school is at 5431 Steilacoom Blvd. SW.
