A driver was injured in a deputy pursuit that ended in a crash in unincorporated King County Thursday afternoon near Enumclaw.
Police said the pursuit started at about 3:30 p.m.
The King County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were pursuing a black Honda stolen in Tacoma that had switched plates.
The vehicle was driving westbound on Southeast 400th and 196th Southeast streets when it crashed through a fence.
The driver was unconscious and airlifted to a hospital.
Passengers inside the vehicle were not hurt. They were taken into custody, the sheriff’s office said.
Detectives said the road would be shut down for several hours for the investigation.
