INITIAL REPORT: A Yakima Amber Alert reached the South Sound Tuesday night.
Tacoma cellphone users reported getting messages about 6 p.m. about missing 3-year-old Lupita Tellez and 20-year-old mother Vivianna Cruz.
Both were seen being forced into a vehicle about 10:15 a.m., but the neighbor who saw them didn’t talk to police until returning from school, six hours later, Yakima police spokesman Mike Bastinelli said.

“They could be anywhere,” he said.
The suspect is 18-year-old Kyle Arellano, according to the Amber Alert.
He is Hispanic, has black hair and brown eyes, and is 6 foot 3 and 260 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
Cruz and Lupita were forced into a silver 2000 Mitsubishi Galant four door, Washington license plate AUP4936.
They are also Hispanic.
Lupita has shoulder length black hair, brown eyes, and is 2 foot 6 and 30 pounds.
Cruz was last seen wearing a black sweater and black pants.
