A 63-year-old man was shot and injured Wednesday afternoon in Tacoma’s South End by an 18- or 19-year-old man, according to Tacoma police.
That suspect is still at large, police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said Thursday.
Multiple suspects were believed to be involved in the crime. Tacoma police arrested a 18-year-old woman on suspicion of first-degree attempted murder Thursday afternoon.
Police searched for the shooter Wednesday night near the area of the shooting at the 1700 block of South 35th Avenue, Cool said. The shooting happened about 5:15 p.m.

The victim was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital, Cool said, where his condition has improved.
Police believe the shooter knew the victim, but no motive has been established.
