A 24-year-old man was killed Thursday afternoon in a shooting in Federal Way, according to police.
Firefighters and medics tried to perform CPR on the man who was in his home in the 2500 block of South 286th Place when they arrived about 2:15 p.m., but the man did not survive his multiple gunshot wounds, Federal Way police spokeswoman Cathy Schrock wrote in an email.
Police are searching for two black males in their 20s who were seen leaving the area on foot; one is 6 feet tall with a thin build, gray shirt and jeans; the other is 5-foot-10 with a thin build and unknown clothing, Schrock wrote.
Witnesses told police they saw a white Chevy Malibu leaving the scene immediately after the shooting.
Police are leading a search for the suspects and an investigation into the shooting. Detectives say the shooting was not random, Schrock said.
