Interested residents have until Feb. 10 to file their applications for appointment to the vacant seat on the DuPont City Council.
The Pierce County Council Tuesday re-launched the process of creating a flood-control zone district, and this time dangled a carrot for areas rarely in danger of flooding: Some tax money collected could go to stormwater control.
The months-long process of redrawing Pierce Transit’s boundary lines is under way, and a new draft map leaves out large chunks of eastern and western Pierce County.
