    Al Paffenroth Jr. still hopes that the remains of his father, Al Sr., will one day be recovered. His plane went missing somewhere near Pyongyang in the early stages of the Korean War. The younger Paffenroth is one of hundreds of Puget Sound area residents who are expected to attend a Defense Department POW/MIA conference this weekend in Bellevue.
