SPANAWAY: Bethel district’s athletic director among top directors in U.S.

Bethel School District athletic director Dan Heltsley recently traveled to Fort Worth, Texas, to compete against five other award-winning athletic directors from around the country for National Athletic Director of the Year.
While Heltsley didn’t win the national title, he was named Northwest District Athletic Director of the Year earlier this year by the National Association for Sport and Physical Education.
