KITSAP COUNTY: Boy who died in Horseshoe Lake identified as Bremerton resident
THE NEWS TRIBUNE
Published: July 17th, 2008 01:00 AM
The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office on Wednesday identified a 6-year-old boy who died in an apparent drowning at Horseshoe Lake on Tuesday as Malachi Dewalt of Bremerton.

The boy was swimming at the Kitsap County lake with his family Tuesday afternoon when he went missing. He was later found in the water unconscious and not breathing. An official cause of death was pending, but Kitsap County sheriff’s officials have said they were treating the death as an accidental drowning.
