Investigators were searching Tuesday for the man who robbed a Tacoma bank last week.
The man walked into the Bank of America branch at 3408 S. 23rd St. about 3:30 p.m. Thursday, detectives said. He handed the teller a note demanding cash, was given an undisclosed amount of money and left, police reported. The bandit was captured on the bank’s surveillance cameras.
The robber was described as white, about 45 to 50 years old and 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 9 inches tall. He had a medium build, a thick gray mustache and short hair. He wore a navy blue sweatshirt, blue jeans and a Seattle Mariners baseball hat.
