Officers search home of friend of missing girl’s parents

Lakewood police have searched the home of a friend of Adre-Anna Jackson’s parents as part of their investigation into the disappearance of the 10-year-old girl.

The home was searched Thursday, KIRO-TV reported. Police seized clothing and other items. The man told KIRO-TV that officers accused him of sexually molesting the girl. He denied the allegations.

Police did not return calls for comment Friday.

Adre-Anna disappeared Dec. 2. Her parents say they last saw her heading to Tillicum Elementary School to see whether there were classes despite snow. Classes were canceled, but school officials were at the school in case any students showed up. They never saw Adre-Anna.

Police have said that in addition to talking with Adre-Anna’s parents, they are questioning anyone the parents or their daughter knew as part of the investigation.
