Truck crashes into McChord Air Force Base gate

Police investigators from McChord Air Force Base inspect a vehicle that rammed a blockade at the base's housing gate this morning, July 2, 2009.
CommentsEmergency crews responded to a McChord Air Force base gate this morning for an accident. It was reported that the driver was taken to Tacoma General Hospital for treatment of his injuries. The truck apparently smashed into a 5,000-pound concrete barrier and moved it 20 to 25 feet.
