Pellets crack windows in Puyallup school buses
Two Puyallup school buses full of students were hit with shots from a pellet gun just blocks away from Aylen Junior High on Monday.
The two buses were leaving the school about 3 p.m. when one window on each was hit with pellets, police Lt. Dave McDonald said. The windows cracked but didnt break. There were no injuries.
The buses stopped near 15th Street West and West Pioneer so replacement buses could pick up the students. Officials didnt want the damaged buses to continue in case the windows shattered, McDonald said.
Police found no witnesses or weapons.
