Auburn Senior High School will host the 23rd annual Auburn Veterans Day Marching Band Competition from 1 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Auburn Memorial Stadium.
The competition is sponsored by the Auburn Band Parents Association.
More than 30 high school marching bands from Washington, Oregon and Idaho will compete in this year’s Parade and Field Show Competition.
Many of the bands will appear in the 44th annual Veterans Day Parade beginning at 11 a.m. along Main Street, which constitutes preliminary marching competition.
There will be special guest performances during the day by the Seattle Seahawks Blue Thunder and the Seattle Sounders Soundwave drum corps.
Ticket prices for all-day admission are $14 for adults, $10 for students ages 6-18 and seniors 62 and older, and free for children 5 and younger. Money raised helps benefit band programs at Auburn High School.
