Veterans Day: Wednesday’s holiday closures, schedules
CommentsWednesday is Veterans Day, and many government agencies, schools and other offices will be closed in observance. Here’s a partial list of closures:
• Pierce County, City of Tacoma, state and federal offices.
• Pierce County, King County and Tacoma library branches.
• Most schools, including those in the Tacoma, Puyallup, Bethel, Clover Park and Federal Way school districts.
• Most bank branches.
Curbside garbage, recycling and yard-waste services will not be affected in Tacoma and unincorporated Pierce County. The City of Tacoma landfill, recycling center and household hazardous waste facility will be open regular hours, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
