The House on Wednesday approved a proposal to let people testify to the Legislature by submitting prerecorded video. The House changed Senate Bill 5267 to apply only to the Senate. The bill must return to the Senate for consideration of the changes.
THURSDAY IN THE LEGISLATURE
Two plans, one by Democrats and one by Republicans, to address education funding and local school levies will be considered in the Senate Ways and Means Committee. Senators will take public testimony on Senate Bill 6103 and Senate Bill 6109. The 3:30 p.m. meeting is in Room 4 of the John A. Cherberg Building.
FRIDAY IN THE LEGISLATURE
The House Finance Committee plans a public hearing on House Bill 2156, which would give cities and counties an array of new tax, fee and regulatory authority. The hearing is at 8 a.m. in Room A of the John L. O’Brien Building.
