Final details of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s public rally in Everett next week were announced Friday by an official with his state campaign.
Trump’s public event is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Everett’s Xfinity Arena, according to state Sen. Don Benton. The Vancouver Republican is the director of Trump’s Washington campaign.
Free tickets for the rally are available on Trump’s website, which says doors will open at 4 p.m..
A Seattle-area fundraiser is expected the same day, but its location hasn’t been disclosed.
In May, Trump held events in Spokane and Lynden, Whatcom County in early May.
In late July, Benton said he spoke with Trump at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland about the presidential hopeful’s campaign efforts in Washington.
“When I met with Donald in Cleveland he told me he was coming back,” Benton said.
State Sen. Doug Ericksen, R-Ferndale, told The News Tribune on Thursday that Trump isn’t expecting to make a campaign stop in the South Sound. Ericksen is deputy director of Trump’s campaign in Washington.
