A King County judge on Friday ordered the City of Tacoma to release records of a Washington State Patrol investigation of the David Brame scandal - records city leaders have refused to publicly release for more than two months.
All eyes in the South Sound, it seemed, turned to Tacoma in the aftermath of the David Brame shootings one year ago.
They think of her while driving Highway 16, when they see yellow, her favorite color, or while working in the garden.
On the wall of a kitchen cabinet in Gig Harbor hangs a calendar made by a little boy.
5 p.m. today: The Tacoma City Council meets in the first-floor chambers at City Hall, 747 Market St.
The Brame shootings and investigations have prompted three legal actions so far:
The people Crystal Brame's family is suing wanted more information about just how they could have caused her death.
People and governments being sued for Crystal Brame's death need more information about what they're accused of doing wrong, a judge ruled Tuesday.
David Brame's parents want to see their grandchildren, and this week they filed a petition asking a court commissioner to let them do so.
Another judge has been assigned to hear the Crystal Brame wrongful death lawsuit.
