Re: “Protesters learned from the best,” (TNT letter, 11/27).
The letter writer suggests that protests over the 2016 presidential election results are of a lesser value than the Vietnam War protests in which he affirms his participation.
I wish to remind the author that the protesters of his generation were not just certain of being right; history proved them right in spite of wide condemnation of their actions.
The writer is advised to postpone his being “sick and tired of watching the antics of liberal students” for a few years. History might prove these protesters to be right, too.
