Re: "Tacoma Councilman Ibsen seeks re-election" (thenewstribune.com, 1-21).
Tacoma City Councilman Anders Ibsen helped my wife and me restore our dream of owning a quiet home beside a beautiful park in the North End.
For years, we called non-emergency police services to help confront late-night loiterers who blasted loud music and left garbage in the gravel parking lot right beside our house.
By taking immediate action and corresponding with the city, Ibsen helped fix our streetlight and suggested the installation of a no-parking-after-sunset sign. Both solutions have noticeably improved the quality of our evenings.
I am grateful for Ibsen's dedication towards helping local families eliminate noise-disturbance issues and repel car prowlers. Both my wife and I sincerely hope he can continue to provide his service to our community. We proudly support re-electing him as city councilman.
