I am a Click subscriber, but not for cable TV. When we built the the Click system, Tacoma called itself a "wired city." We were not talking about cable TV; we meant Internet.
Internet service is the core element of Click, and it is not losing money. Instead of giving up our publicly owned Internet infrastructure, we need to shed the part of it that loses money: cable TV.
Most people have other options for receiving TV, and those options multiply every day. We don't have another broadband option, and we don't want to give up the one we have.
Let's keep our publicly owned Internet infrastructure, focus on broadband, and drop cable TV.
