I find it amazing to see what happened in Indiana this week. Bernie Sanders wins the state, and yet has to share half of the delegates with Hillary Clinton, who didn’t bother to show up the day before or the day after the election and who did no TV advertising compared to Sanders spending $1.5 million.
Isn’t this like so many of the programs of the Democratic Party -- without checks and balances, give benefits to those who don’t work or earn them? Sanders should be pretty upset, in my opinion. He outspent all of the contenders in both parties and yet has to share delegates. As he’s said on many occasions, “It’s not fair.” That’s socialism, folks.
