I read the News Tribune every day cover to cover for many reasons. I am always amazed by the gold nuggets of information I glean every once in awhile, such as Marianne Binetti reminding me it’s time to cut back those petunias for another growth spurt come August. And who can forget her advice for major fertilizing in the months that start with “A”.
And then columnist Matt Driscoll reminding me to care about my local library and what we all will miss when a neighborhood gem could slip through our hands because of indifference.
These two writers play on our mind and conscience and remind us that it’s a wonderful world when we dig in and make a difference in our communities.
