Re: “Sparks flying over Nearly Naked Fireworks” (TNT, 7-2).
Every year at this time, thousands of people – mostly children – are injured by fireworks. This also happens to be one of the busiest times of the year for local fire departments as they rush to douse fires started by pyrotechnics or attend to gunpowder-induced accidents. This should be of notable concern to everyone.
But in Puyallup, the concern is not the damage those explosive devices cause, but rather the threat to a youngster’s moral character by a bikini-clad woman selling those fireworks.
So when was the last time a nearly naked lady sent someone to the hospital or burned down a house? I mean, other than metaphorically.
