So the letter writer wants to ban homosexuality and same-sex marriage? That means telling about 30 million Americans that they are no longer welcomed in the United States of America. How will this amendment banning homosexuality be enforced? Is the federal government going to install billions of cameras all over America to catch people breaking the law? Will there be cameras in every room of every house? How much is this going to cost? Will the government have to raise taxes?
Trying to ban homosexuality is like the federal government trying to ban people from flushing their toilets more than once per day. As for banning same-sex marriages – that’s up to the states to decide, not the federal government.
