Saturday at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture in Seattle will be all about mammals.
Visitors will have the chance to see, touch and learn about hundreds of specimens from the museum’s mammal collection during “Meet the Mammals.”
Mammal experts from the museum and other organizations will be on hand all day to answer questions and talk about the diversity of mammals.
Among the groups taking part will be the Guild of Scientific Illustrators, Seattle Police Canine Unit, Center for Conservation Biology, Woodland Park Zoo, The Whale Trail, University of Washington Department of Anthropology and The Northwest School.
