We’ve already had the sportsmen’s show, the boat show and multiple RV shows. Now it’s time for the Seattle Bike Show, rolling into CenturyLink Field Event Feb. 28-March 1. The show marks the seasonal kickoff of the cycling season in the Northwest.
More than 250 exhibitors will be on hand, touting the latest bikes and gear, travel destinations, benefit rides and offering seminars.
Attendees will be able to hear from local experts, who will share tips in multiple seminars. They also can visit the “Dirt Zone.” New to the show, the area will provide instructional opportunities for mountain bikers of all experience levels. There also will be the performance area, with demonstrations to educate and enhance attendees’ biking experience.
Among the people scheduled to appear at this year’s show are Bob Roll, professional cyclist and author; Ryan Leech, mountain bike professional, stunt rider and film star; Craig Undem, owner and coach at Cycle University; and the SnoValley Unicycle Club.
This year, the bike show will be combined with the Travel Trips & Adventures Expo, a cycling and outdoor adventure showcase for those looking to hit the trail or take a whitewater raft trip.
This portion of the show will offer seminars by top experts, canoe and kayak demonstrations in the Whitewater Demo Pool, and a 250-foot zipline.
