Sumner Police Department recommended for re-accreditation

The Sumner Police Department has been found to be in compliance with all 135 standards set by the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs and has been recommended for re-accreditation.

Patrick Duffy, a retired family physician who practiced in Sumner between 1952 and 2004 and delivered more than 2,000 babies, received quite a celebration to honor and recognize his 60 years of service to the Sumner Rotary Club.
