They had been waiting for months for Sunday night, and the anticipation grew as the line inched into the Tacoma Dome.

The Jonas Brothers packed the Dome for a concert, but the festival started well before the doors opened. Thousands of fans waited in line, signed a tour bus with proposals and adorations, and argued for their favorite brother.
“They’re cute,” 11-year-old Sidney Suit of Covington said, sporting a homemade Jonas Brothers tanktop.
“They have awesome songs,” friend Tina Kelly, 14, said.
“They’re really hot,” 11-year-old Sierra Suit said.
The crowd was mostly full of teenagers and their parents; some were forced to tag along, others were excited to be there. Lines stretched around the Dome for hours, with a small group piled in the rear to try to catch a glimpse of the band. They held up bright posterboard signs and sang their favorite songs.
Mark Nielsen stood and watched his 10-year-old daughter, Marisa, as she walked around a large tour bus, trying to find the perfect spot to write a message to the band.
On Sunday morning Marisa woke up early and was so excited, she didn’t know what to do. She changed her outfit three times before heading out the door to see her favorite band.
“I like them,” said Mark, who lives in Puyallup. “They seem to be good role models for the kids.”
