Recap: Michael Putnam staged a late rally after making a bogey on the 12th by making birdies at No. 14 (45-foot chip from left rough) and No. 18 (17-foot putt). … Moore had three back-nine birdies (Nos. 12, 14, 15), but he was not as fortunate on the finishing hole after his drive landed in a fairway bunker, leading to a bogey. … Gonzales, the Capital High School product, went from being in danger of missing the final-day cut after making a triple bogey on No. 17 (tee shot at par-3 hole went into a lake) to moving back inside the cut line by drilling a 17-foot putt for birdie on the finishing hole — set up by a 330-yard drive.
