The purple pants are looking good.
UW got off to a nice start with Kenny James breaking for a 54-yard touchdown on the first play. The Huskies later led 10-7 and 13-10, before Oklahoma tied it again with a 37-yard field goal in the final minute of the half.
The Huskies have 175 total yards to the Sooners' 172. They're getting that total in different ways. UW is having more success on the ground – 94 yards to 70 – but the Sooners are passing bette - 102 yards to 82.
Sean Douglas set a school record with an 82-yard punt, but it was a line-drive and it came back just as fast -- a 62-yard return by Reggie Smith.
Ardian Peterson occasionally looks dangerous, but hasn't taken over the game. He has 58 yards on 12 carried with a long run of 26 yards.
Before the game the Sooners sounded very concerned about Isaiah Stanback running on them, but whatever steps they took to prevent that have worked: he has carried five times for a minus-6 yards.
