The Huskies will be without their top two tight ends against Oklahoma. Coach Tyrone Willingham announced today that Michael Gottlieb (broken hand) and Robert Lewis (broken foot) will be unavailable Saturday and perhaps beyond.
Willingham confirmed this afternoon that the injuries will move former tailback Johnie Kirton into the starting spot. Behind him, former defensive end Walt Winter, freshman Tim Williams and walk-on Tacoman Tim Harris will all be given their chances in practice this week.
Speaking of practice, the Huskies moved inside this afternoon, practicing in Dempsey Indoor.
