The Pac-10 coaches had their usual media press teleconference on Tuesday. A few hightlights:
Coach Mike Bellotti's Ducks played Fresno State last week, and Oklahoma this week (and in each of the past two seasons). That makes him a great source to compare OU's Adrian Peterson, who the Huskies saw last week, with Fresno's Dwayne Wright, who they'll see this week.
Bellotti said both are physical power backs who can run through tackles. In terms of differences, he said Peterson is "rangier and faster. Wright is power back. If peterson gets a step on you he's gone. They're both awesome backs. Their teams are commited to the run. Wright may be a more patient runner, Peterson may be a little more dangerous from the outside."
Of Fresno, Bellotti said: "I think they've proven that they're a nationally renowned football program."
