Someone had asked earlier for more advance notice about the Husky Walk into the stadium. So here's an early heads-up that UW will renew the tradition that was begun at its last home game.
Weather permitting, the Huskies will be driven to the Husky Stadium parking lot before the Stanford game and will walk though the tailgate area before heading into the stadium. The team is scheduled to arrive near the Waterfront Activities Center in the southeast corner of the south parking lot around 10:15 a.m. Saturday. From there, the players and coaches will walk to the southeast gate of Husky Stadium, cross the field into the tunnel and to their locker room.
Fans are encouraged to line their route.
