The Huskies have trailed most of the half. They've been down by as much as 11, and were down by six in the final minute of the half. Then Adrian Oliver made a steal and got the ball out to Justin Dentmon, who finished the break and got the crowd into it. Then EWU's Rodney Stuckey missed a jumper, Oliver rebounded took the ball across half court and fired a 40-footer that drew nothing but net. That REALLY got the crowd in.
As for Stuckey, he's everything he has been billed and more. 21 points in about 17 minutes.
For the Huskies, Quincy Pondexter and Oliver have 10 points. Spencer Hawes has eight, but played only nine minutes in foul trouble (3).
Once again, the Huskies have more turnovers than assists: 11-10. And they will have to tighten up their defense: EWU is hitting 51.7 percent from the field.
