It's that time of the season where one big win just makes the next game that much bigger.
Next up for Washington is the rematch with Washington State.
You may recall -- whether you want to or not -- that WSU won the first game, 75-47, in Pullman. However, Washington has won five of its six games since then. Plus, UW has been a different team at home. Plus, Spencer Hawes missed the first game with an ankle sprain.
For all that, WSU has won three straight in the series, and no one in purple expects this game to be anything but a struggle.
"That team right there is about as close to a machine as you're going to find in our league," UW coach Lorenzo Romar said. "They're a very efficient team right now. They're just peaking, they just playing offensively and defensively really well."
So, as is our early-week custom, here is a link to the WSU basketball Web site.
