Brandon Roy got to see his old team in person for the first time this season. He sat behind the UW bench, and visited them in the locker room after the game. I bumped into him there for a few words.
Here are a few of those words -- his take on probably watching UW's three-season NCAA tournament streak come to an end:
"It's disappointing. They're young. I remember when I was a freshman and we were playing Oregon State we got beat by 30. I can't get too down on them. They can't fold the tent. They have to go out and play with pride. And who knows? They have the (Pac-10) tournament now. They can make a run. They just have to focus and finish strong and give people something to look forward to going into next year."
