WSU ended the longest streak without a win in the Pac-10 tournament. Their previous win had come March 9, 1989: 78-56 vs. Oregon.

WSU's 25 wins tie the second-most in school history. The Cougs won 25 games in 1916-17.
WSU sophomore Taylor Rochestie scored seven points in the last 1:32, included a three-pointer that was a dagger to the Huskies. It was his second consecutive game of 20 points or more.
WSU converted 23 free throws, it's highest total in a 40-minute game this season.
This was WSU's fifth straight win over UW ... it's longest streak since winning six straight from 1940-42. This was the first time the Cougars have beaten the Huskies three times in a single season since 1949-50, when the schools played four times.
The Cougars have never won two Pac-10 tournament games in one season ... but they'll try to accomplish that tonight against USC,
UW's Ryan Appleby had three 3-pointers, raising his total to a school record 84 for the season.
