Seems like everybody in the Pacific-10 Conference had a little drama going on (especially WSU). Some news:
ARIZONA: Stoops' homecoming (he hasn't been back to the Iowa campus in a long time) comes at a hostile environment, one the Wildcats say they're ready for.
ARIZONA STATE: Injuries causing the Sun Devils to shuffle offensive line personnel.
CALIFORNIA: Bears hit the road, and try and prepare differently than last year at Maryland (Tedford did point out in yesterday's Pac-10 call that the team is 4-1 in non-conference games east basically as a get-off-my-back suggestion).
Never miss a local story.
OREGON: Noticeably absent last week against Purdue, the Ducks are trying to get Dickson, the tight end, more involved in passing attack.
OREGON STATE: Jacquizz sits out, Moevao gets more involved in Beavers' Tuesday practice.
STANFORD: Porous defense is something Harbaugh won't tolerate. Change is coming, the coach proclaims.
UCLA: Four get suspended for this week's game against Kansas State.
USC: Everyone wants a Barkley update (and he didn't do much Tuesday, with Corp taking all the first-team snaps). What about the Mays' situation? With him hobbled, the Trojans move Jones back to safety from cornerback.
WASHINGTON STATE: Probably the best thing to do is read Vince Grippi's post after last night's practice. So much news swirling around the Palouse – Wulff's shaky tenure, the quarterback switch and lots of injuries. Lots for Husky fans to revel in.
