The Huskies have a morning practice today, and I'll pop back in with their thoughts on tomorrow's game against Texas A&M after that.
But for starters today, here's something from Aggies coach March Turgeon on the Huskies:
"The biggest challenge is we are playing a team picked to win their league on their home court, where they don't lose very often. I think we're looking forward to getting on the road. We leave early Monday morning. A lot of our guys have never been to the state of Washington and I know a lot of them are excited to see Seattle and what it's like.
"We get in early and have plenty of time to get ourselves acclimated and ready to play. I think we know where we are (as a team) but we don't know where we are on the road against a really quality opponent. We're going to find out Tuesday. That'll give us a good idea of where we are and how we have to play.
Never miss a local story.
"It's easy when you play at home, you can play a certain way. On the road, you've got to figure out different ways to play. Hopefully, we can become a good road team. We had a nice win at SMU, but that was a long time ago. For us to get where we want to be, we have to be a good road team. You do that with defense and rebounding and executing ...
"Washington is really talented. They have a lot of good basketball players and they are really good in that building."
